After spending most of her career as a CPA, Financial Consultant and project manager helping people and organizations create financial outcomes to realize financial goals and aspirations, Laura made the transition to Financial Planning out of a desire to help individuals and families meet their life goals.  Laura, like many of us at Aspire, share a deep personal need to be the “analyst & giver” embodied in one person. Whether it’s sharing her time as her neighborhood’s treasurer for their local Education Foundation, or volunteering with her daughter at the local animal shelter, Laura walks the talk.

Professionally, her experiences range from public accounting and financial analysis roles to bookkeeping for small businesses.  Laura has over 10 years’ experience in financial services with Capital One, where she was responsible for managing projects, establishing processes and improving the customer experience.

Laura holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Arizona State University and a Masters of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University as well as being a current CPA.   Laura passed the CFP® exam in March 2018 and is working toward the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation.

She’s now a member of the Financial Planning Association and AICPA, and volunteers with Junior Achievement to help children learn about personal finances.  A Dallas native, Laura lives there with her husband and daughter.

Laura will support you, our clients, as well as Aspire's advisory team from a virtual setting (she'll work from home in Lewisville, TX), however, be flying out from time to time to visit with clients as well!
